Get involved today - Safe & accessible streets for all of New Orleans
We need your help to reach as many friends, neighbors, and businesses as possible so everyone in New Orleans understands the need for more safety and less stress on our streets. We're supporting the work currently being done by the City of New Orleans to improve safety and access for people driving, walking, biking, or riding the bus, ferry, or streetcar. The work of rapidly building a city-wide low-stress bikeway network is underway with the goal of 75 miles of improvements installed this year alone! Check out the new bikeways and walking paths in Algiers today and look out for upcoming low-stress bikeways coming to neighborhoods across the east bank of New Orleans this fall! Select from any of the options below to lend your time, space in your yard, or on your vehicle to support better walking, biking, driving, and transit on New Orleans streets! 'More Safety, Less Stress' t-shirts are available for residents who volunteer;) FOR MORE INFORMATION, visit www.nolacompletestreets.org
