We've been lucky to work with scores of committed residents and community leaders, all in the cause of making New Orleans streets safe and accessible for everyone who uses them.

If you've been out to volunteer or have participated as a Complete Streets Ambassador with NOCSC or any of our member organizations such as Bike Easy, GirlTrek, Ride New Orleans, American Heart Association, Friends of Lafitte Greenway, or other organizations ... please join a special happy hour virtual meetup, Wednesday, June 3rd, from 5 - 6:30pm!

As we enter the summer and look towards the fall, we want to provide you with an update on our campaign to bring Complete Streets to every corner of New Orleans and our support for the City's rapid-build construction of the Moving New Orleans Bikes low-stress network, and our new Complete Streets Activation Mini-Grant.

And we want to hear from you. What are you focused on? Are you looking for projects or ways to lend a hand in your community?

As previous volunteers and Ambassadors, we encourage you to apply for the Activation Mini-Grant or to encourage a local organization, church, school, or business to do so. We want to fund community projects that will engage residents and get them active using new complete streets improvements and the City's Moving New Orleans low-stress bikeway network as it comes online this summer and fall.
