New Orleans Complete Streets Coalition, Bike Easy, and Committee for a Better New Orleans will host a youth bike giveaway, bike safety workshop and neighborhood bike ride.

The event is open to youth and families of all ages.

We'll explore how to fit a bike and helmet, how to make sure your bike is safe to ride, and practice the rules of the road on a bike safety course. After the workshop, we'll take a neighborhood bike ride exploring how to get around on the new protected bikeway infrastructure in Algiers.

For the finale of the event, NOCSC will raffle off five teen bikes, so be sure to stick around for the full event!
